Just thought some of you might be interested in the new community my friend babytoaster created: pass_along. I think it's a great idea, but it needs participants! ;)

Greetings and Salutations!
Found this community through another community I belong to, and as I'm always looking for support from fellow writers, thought I'd join. So I did.
Real name is Stefanie, although I do have various internet-related and literary aliases. I'm 21, currently studying English/Creative Writing and history in my last year at college in Boston Massachusetts. (Which as a word, I can never spell correctly). Am originially from CT. Mostly write short stories and poetry, although lately I've been dabbling in noveltry and personal essays.
Here's to writing? (After all, given everything else, do we really have anything else right now?)

Hello, I'm Marnie. :3Leave a comment
I love to write and I'd love to hear some opinions on my writing.
On another note, I'd be very happy to make some graphics, (a layout, banners, buttons, icons, etc).

Hi, I'm Rose.Leave a comment
I've been looking for a community for writers, where I can feel comfortable posting my poetry and get some good feedback and constructive criticism. I'm hoping I've landed in the right spot.
I do an okay job on layouts (see my journal) and would be willing to help if you'd like help on the layout. Also, I don't konw what being a co-mod would involve, but I'm online often enough to do something like that, probably. So... let me know if you would like me to help. :)

Just out of interest, i'd like to know if you guys would like to see some sort of Portfolio page on the main site? Mainly this would eventually be where you could post up your fiction and pieces. Let me know your thoughts on this and also if you have any ideas on design or know of anyone that is looking to do something like this please get in touch.2 comments - Leave a comment

Also, i mentioned in the last post that a couple of people didn't like the holding page for the site, so i bring before you a new one. This has a little more content (not much i know) and looks a touch better than the geocities one did. So here you go.

Welcome to The Empty Pen LJ Community. This will run alongside the website which at the moment is still in the developing stage but if you want to have a look feel free - The Empty Pen 1 comment - Leave a comment
I won’t go into too much detail because most of it is on the holding page of the site, which is obviously what you’ll see when you get over there.
Basically, we’re a UK based site/LJ community and I’m looking for writers from all over the UK. Even if you only write drabble come take a look at what we do and if you like what you see please sign up.
• A co-moderator.
• Someone to make some sort of design for here and the main site.
If you’re looking at this and thinking that it sounds like you and you qualify for all three requests then email me and I’ll take you into consideration. If you can also provide the free web space I’ll make you a co-mod in exchange.
So come sign up, and fill that empty pen with ideas.
